Ladybird's Welly Walk

On Thursday, Ladybird's went on a Welly Walk. We each took a piece of string and went on a hunt for Autumn leaves to thread onto them. We explored lots of areas of the field to find leaves from different types of trees. They were lots of different colours! We had a list of red, orange, yellow, green and brown.

While we were out exploring we sang our Welly Walk song (to the tune of 'Here we go Round the Mulberry Bush').
"We're going on a welly walk, a welly walk, a welly walk. We're going on a welly walk to thread some Autumn leaves!"

Our threaded leaves are now hanging in our classroom. Come and see what we have been doing!
