Friday 4th May
The final day of our adventure.
We all had a very busy morning first thing as we had to make sure that
everything was packed in our suitcases and our rooms were clear.
Nearly everyone managed to pack everything and get their sleeping bags
sorted but some needed a little help!!
After another hearty breakfast we went off to do our first activity.
Group 1 had Matrix (or Quad bike cleaning as it is known here!), group
2 had quad biking and group 3 had survivor. Again everyone was
brilliant in facing their fears and working as a team.
We then had to go straight into our next activity. Group 1 were doing
low ropes, group 2 did the Matrix/quad bike cleaning and group 3 did
quad biking. All did fantastically well with everything.
I would like to say a big thank you to Badger Class as they have been
superb this week on our trip away together and we have all had an
amazing time here at Little Canada.
Thanks again
Miss Chainey.
Little Canada - Thursday 3rd May
Thursday 3rd May. Our adventure continues...
Everybody slept really well last night and most of the children didn't
wake up until at least half past 6 this morning!
We got ready and went for another hearty breakfast to set us up for the day.
Group 1 then had aeroball, group 2 had inside climbing and group 3 had
low ropes. As always everyone did fatastically well overcoming their
fears and giving everything 100% effort. After that, group 1 did inside
climbing, group 2 did low ropes and group 3 did archery. We all had
great fun and showed lots of good team work and being brilliantly
supportive towards their friends who were not so confident.
After a delicious lunch of pizza and chips (much appreciated by the
children), we went for our afternoon activities. Group 1 did quad
biking, group 2 did archery and group 3 did aeroball. We have
definately got some future Sterling Mosses and William Tells in our
class!
After a short break, group 1 finished the day with archery, group 2
with tunnel trail and group 3 had inside climbing.
We then had our dinner and got ready for our big night out at the disco.
Everyone has had another superb day (even if we are all getting very
tired!) and we are looking forward to our final activities tomorrow.
Well done Badgers!!

Little Canada..In the Afternoon!
Wednesday 2nd May afetrnoon
Day 2 of our adventure continued...
After refuelling at lunch time we had our afternoon activities.
Group 1 and 2 did fencing and group 3 did Matrix. We had some
brilliant duels during our fencing session and some super problem
solvers during the Matrix.
Group 1 and 2 then did Survivor and group 3 did tunnel trail. A great
time was had by all during survivor, making shelters from wood, string
and a piece of plastic sheet and making mini fires. Everyone got VERY
muddy and looked great with their'natural' camoflage!! Group 3 did
really well playing all the games in the dark for tunnel trail.
A great day so far.

Little Canada Day 2!
Wednesday 2nd May morning
Day 2 of our adventure....
The children were all up bright and early this morning!!
We had our breakfast at 8am and then went back to the house to get
ready for our activities.
Groups 1 and 2 had abseiling and group 3 had fencing. Everyone did
brilliantly with facing their fears and all got stuck in.
Group 1 then had tunnel trail, group 2 had aeroball and group 3 had
abseiling. Again everyone did fantastically and were very brave with
doing something that made them feel quite scared.
A great morning.

Little Canada - Day 1!
Tuesday 1st May
Our Adventure begins!
We had a really good ferry crossing today and arrived on the Isle of
Wight to fantastic sunshine. The children were all very excited to be
on their trip to Little Canada and we had a lot of 'Are we nearly
there yet Miss Chainey?'.
When we did arrive at Little Canada, we met our groupie Laura and she
took us over to the house to drop off all of our bags.
The children then went on a tour with Jamie, whilst the teachers had a
chat with Laura.
The children ate well for dinner and filled up on lots of salad and fruit!
In the evening we had our first activity 'Robot Wars'. It was
brilliant fun and the children had a great time. They had to do lots
of different activities to earn points towards equipment for turning
two of their team in to robots for the Robot Wars at the end. The
robots were blindfolded and had to be guided by their teams to pick up
glasses of water to throw at their opponent. Some of which got thrown
straight at me!!
We all then went back to the house to get ready for bed.
A superb first day.
